Head and Skull: Short, deep through with broud skull. Very pronounced cheek muscles. distinct stop short foreface, nose black.

Eyes: Dark preferred but may bear some relation to coat colour. Round, of medium size, and set to look straight ahead. Eye rims dark.

Ears: Rose or half-picked, not large or heavy. Full drop or picked ears highly undesirable.

Mouth: Lips tight and clean. Jaws strong, teeth large, with a perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. upper teeth closely overlapping the lower teeth and set square to the jaws.

Nyak: Ar�nylag r�vid es er�sen izmolt. A k�ls� vonalban behat�rolt. A k�ny�kh�z vezetve folyamatosan r�simul.

Neck: Mucular, rather short, clean in outline gradually widening towards shoulders.

Forequarters: Legs straight and well boned, set rather wide apart, showing no weakness at tha pasterns, from which point the feet turn out a little. Shoulders well laid bac with no loosenes at the elbow.

Body: Close-coupled, with level topline, wide front, deep brisket, well sprung ribs, muscular and well defined.

Feet: Well padded, strong and of medium size. Nails black in solid coloured dogs.

Tail: Medium lenght, low-set, tapering to a point and carried rather low. Should not curl much and may be likened to an old fashioned pump handle.

Gait/Movement: Free, powerful and agile with economy of effort. Legs moving parallel when viewed from front or rear. Discernable drive from hind 1egs.

Coat: Smooth, short and close.

Sz�n: V�r�s, s�rga, feh�r, fekete vagy k�k. Mindegyik ezek k�z�l feh�rrel keveredhet. Minden vari�ci� cs�kossal vagy cs�kos feh�rrel keverve. A fekete csersz�n, vagy m�jsz�n kifejezetten nem k�v�natos.

Colour: Red, fawn, white, black or blue, or any one of these colours with white. Any shae of brindle or any shade of brindle with white. Black and tan or liver colour highly undesirable.

Magass�g es s�ly: A s�ly kanokn�l: 12,7-17,2 kg, szuk�kn�l: 10,9-15,4 kg. Elfogadott marmagass�g 35,6-40,6 cm. A marmagass�gnak es a s�lynak egym�ssal szemben aranyosnak kell lennie.
